Computer accessoriesI just been using the new version of Corel Painter X and the latest Wacom Graphire Bluetooth tablet. I’d forgotten how much fun it is to ‘draw’ using a pen and tablet - I could spend hours just playing with the different software brushes. The new version of Painter is awesome, and the latest Graphire tablets are even better than they used to be.

I have one of these tablets but it’s an old one from work and not as sensitive as it used to be. The new ones cost like $80 off ebay, you can get ones with screens on them and they look cool. But when my one works well it is lots of fun like you say, theres even some software that lets you have a protection on your PC so that when the screensaver comes on, in order to wake it up again you need to sign your signature, and it recognises it (most of the time ;))
One of the best uses I’ve found for a tablet is to make high res ‘real’ digital signatures that I can paste into documents that require my sig. Then I can just email the digital docs without screwing around with scanning …
