Purely by chance, I’ve managed to catch the last few episode of Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities, and I’m really surprised at how much I’ve enjoyed it. I’d heard that Matthew Newton was in it, and I thought he’d be terrible – but he’s actually very good at playing a creepy weed. The set designers have absolutely nailed the late 70s/early 80s decor, cars and clothes – I think that’s the main reason that I like it. I’m almost tempted to buy the entire Underbelly DVD series.
