Toyota Prius - it’s just a normal car…

A friend of mine recently hired a Prius for a week - it cost him an extra $5 a day (I don’t know why), but it was well worth it. I went for a few drives in it, and I have to say, I’m incredibly impressed. After you get over the initial novelty value of watching the electric motor kick in (the Prius has a great dash display that tells you everything!), then it’s just a normal car - except it’s very very quiet. I think Toyota should be pushing the Prius not just as an eco/economical car, but as a silent car. When you’re sitting at traffic lights, the Prius litereally makes no noise. I like it.
