Texas Instruments Little Professor
Collectibles 1 Comment »Vintage electronics are cool, but vintage Texas Instruments stuff is fantastic - and is surprisingly still affordable. Long before Texas Instruments created the legendary Speak & Spell, they produced a modest little educational math calculator called the Little Professor - which helped teach an entire generation of future mathematicians and computer programmers the basics of how numbers fit together. Don’t let these wonderful 1970s classics disappear… math is your friend!

Collectibles No Comments »If you’re into the Simpsons, then these Simpsons Movie Burger King toys are sure to become future collectables. There’s still some reasonbly priced collections available, but the prices won’t last long.
Princess Mononoke - Kodama pin
Collectibles No Comments »I love all the Studio Ghibli movies, but Princess Mononoke is my favorite, so when I saw these cute Kodama pins I knew I’d have to get one. They’re made from glossy enamel and they have a locking pin so they won’t fall off. Nice!

Transformers G1 Soundwave
Collectibles, Toys and games No Comments »Incorporated into the Transformers toy line by Hasbro, the original Transformers G1 Soundwave figure was packaged with Buzzsaw in the US, and with Rumble in Japan. The tapes could fit into Soundwave’s opening chest door (released by a push of his shoulder button), while the interaction level was maintained by his two guns, which turned into batteries that could store in a compartment in his back. Very rare - a must for Transformers collectors!
Transformers G1 collectibles for sale
Collectibles, Toys and games No Comments »The original Transformers toys were definitely cool back in the 80s, and although I wasn’t huge fan, I still managed to collect about 10 of the original G1 Transformers. Over the years my Transformers started to go on missions they’d never return from, and the ones I still had were all eventually just forgotten about or given away (along with my Star Wars figures no doubt!). Needless to say, with the prices being paid for original Transformers G1 collectibles these days, I’m kicking myself for not hanging on to them.
