I’ve been doing a lot of work on my laptop in the last week (I’m recovering from surgery and can’t sit at my desk!) – and it wasn’t until I started actually using my laptop on my lap that I noticed just how hot it really gets. So I’ve bought myself a really cheap laptop cooling pad – I simply sit my laptop on it and plug in the usb power cable for the fans. It’s simple, cheap, and it works – it’s probably extending the life of my laptops processor too.
