I live in an area with a very weak TV signal – and instead of getting the antenna man to come and install an expensive new antenna on the house, I decided to try a few internal TV antennas instead. The first one I got was terrible, it was unpowered, and could barely pull in any signal. The next one I tried was a mains powered antenna, which immediately pulled in all TV stations, including the HD signals! I don’t even need to extend the rabbit ears on it. It cost me about $30, which is inexpensive enough for me to get another one to use with the TV card in my computer.
