GP2X – the alternative handheld

Posted in: Video games

GP2X. Never heard of it? Well I’m not suprised. The GP2X is an awesome handheld that runs nearly every emulator under the sun. The GP2X runs Linux, and can emulate a huge amount of retro games consoles… (deep breath) SNES, NES, SEGA Genesis, Sega Master System, Neo-Geo, GameBoy, GameBoy Advance, Atari 2600, C64, Amiga… the list goes on and on. The GP2X also features TV out, so you can play everything on your TV, it’s also capable of playing DivX movies (and other formats). Plus it runs on plain old AA batteries. Linux in you pocket!
