Buy a center punch and save your life!

I recently saw an episode of MythBusters where Adam and Jamie were testing the various methods of escaping from a car submerged in water. They weren’t able to open the door, or kick out the window (even with steel toe boots!) - but they tried a simple spring loaded center punch from Adam’s toolbox, and it broke the window immediately. If you’re planning on driving your car off a bridge (it does happen!), then it might be a good idea to keep a center punch in your glove compartment!
