If I ever buy a 4WD, it’s going to be a military issue Mercedes G550. I had an RC Unimog when I was a kid, and ever since then I’ve wanted a 1:1 scale Mercedes Benz 4×4.
I hated the first season of Top Gear Australia. It was embarrassing and degrading. And now it’s coming back for season two.

I know it’s a totally stupid thing to do, but I’m going to buy the Henderson Kids DVDs. They’re not going to be available for ever, and it’s a piece of Australian TV history that I want to own.

Purely by chance, I’ve managed to catch the last few episode of Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities, and I’m really surprised at how much I’ve enjoyed it. I’d heard that Matthew Newton was in it, and I thought he’d be terrible - but he’s actually very good at playing a creepy weed. The set designers have absolutely nailed the late 70s/early 80s decor, cars and clothes - I think that’s the main reason that I like it. I’m almost tempted to buy the entire Underbelly DVD series.
